The perennial stream divides the site into two parts. At a zoning level, the common public spaces used by all and those which might require a quieter or more closed environment like the library, computer lab, medical room, indoor games are located on the southern side of the river. A separate entrance is given on this side for the general public to also avail these facilities without disturbing the school activities.
Class rooms and staff rooms are kept adjacent to each other yet separated so that when needed the teachers and the students can both have their private separate spaces.
Semi open pathways with huge overhangs are used to connect all the masses together so that each space is easily accessible even on the rains.
Vehicles are only allowed upto the drop-off point near the reception and administration block
Canteen is kept facing the river but on the northern side where it is easily accessible by the students as well as staff and has a beautiful view.
The dining hall structural framing is detailed out to understand the construction and joinery details in bamboo construction.
