Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The first in the 'Grunge' series. I had Audioslave's 'Like a Stone' on repeat while working on this (for whatever reason) and that's pretty much all I can remember about this one! I do remember being so, so happy with this! We caught PJ live in Belgium a few years back and it was the best gig I have ever been to.


My appreciation for this sometimes-considered-failed superband has only grown with time. I wonder why they were a part of this 'Grunge' series though?


Alice in Chains is the grunge band that I've had the most visceral and deep connection with. The Jar of Flies EP was my go-to break-up-music! *covers face*


A friend once told me that Kurt's lack of musical training forced him to come up with simple tunes – I don't know the truth to it, but it made a world of sense to me! Simple, catchy, inimitable music.


A gift for a friend's friend who the friend was trying to impress. I've never heard anything by Opeth, or at least I don't remember if I have.
